I see the note take app space as one of the few which have a flurry on innovation still ahead of us whereas other areas such as Word Processing, Spreadsheets etc have relatively mature looking forward to round two the rematch I am using the Op to provide setting her up with some good apps and study tactics learned over the years to show the Old Man is still got it going on. My daughter is now attending Uni whereas the purchase of the Ipads is mandated as a prerequisite to attending class. Miro is becoming the king of collaborative whiteboards apps and one of the few apps that allow great mind mapping tools using the Apple Pencil and the Ipad. The best is the two apps that I listed above that use notebooks (Rocketbooks are reusable) with great companion apps that capture and have image recognition to search photo image captures for words that work well for whiteboards. You can use an Ipad and Apple Pencil with several good note-taking apps that have handwriting recognition some with parallel audio recording as if you need to relisten to boring meeting dialog but can serve as a great sleep aid. You will be designated the task of compiling all the notes and distributing them to all attendees.

If you use a laptop during meetings for notetaking some of the below is perceived by attendees: This was just what I needed to manage simple to-do lists along with notes for my engineering classes in college so I couldn't ask for anything more.There is a perception issue using a laptop during meetings. All in all, I really have enjoyed using this app and honestly, for the 8.99 I got it for here on MacUpdate, that was practically a steal considering the price I have paid for many other programs for organizing my to do list and what not that are 5x as pricey. This works perfectly because it is all easily accessed in that crisp sidebar I mentioned earlier. it just works perfectly for what I need on my desktop to jot simple notes in class as well as draft up instructions that I need to remember on a regular basis. Also, I just love how I can see other notes I have in the nice crisp sidebar. This really is an excellent notepad app and the ability to sync with my iPhone and the web is really a nice feature. The dev responded quickly to any questions I had. Its an interesting app but needs a lot more work, yes it syncs using simplenote (itself a bit of a rip-off) but voodoo pad it is not its more a sort of edgies in a box with a little wiki thrown in. I click on a link between notes, and a link again, I want to easily get to the first note but can't. Whilst it has some wiki capability it leaves no trail and is not easy to navigate between notes.
Its just a framework for list a bunch of text documents in a folder.
Then I came to look at how intuitive Nottingham is and it isn't. Some import export explanation might have been useful here. I started by importing longhand the notes I had until i realised that Nottingham just stores everything as a text doc and I could export from anything into text and then drag it to the Nottingham folder. I would love to give this app more but I am using it instead of voodoo pad as a comparison because I need something that takes notes and syncs acros all my macs, so I h=gave this a tryout.
